Cody is a city located one hour east of Yellowstone National Park. It was founded by William Cody, better known as "Buffalo Bill". Although it is a small town with fewer than 10,000 residents, it is a big draw for folks looking to catch a glimpse of the old west while experiencing all the best of the modern world. Cody has a world-class museum, the only nightly rodeo in the nation, restaurants for every taste, amazing artists, a rich night life, abundant wildlife, and some of the friendliest people on earth! Look around our site to learn more.
The Yellowstone Regional Airport is located just minutes outside of city limits and has daily flights to Salt Lake City and Denver. Flying directly into Cody is typically the same price, or cheaper, than flying into Billings and then driving for two hours. Did we mention it takes five minutes to check in and get through security?!? Rental cars are available and there is a limited taxi service in town.
