Description

This historic family cabin is located along the Beartooth Highway, one of the most scenic highways in the country! Take in the beautiful views from the huge deck.

The cabin is on 3 acres enclosed. Sunlight creek is down the hill and that is on the National Forest. It is steep to go down there. If you go, take bear spray and know that the creek is typically running full, muddy, and dangerous until mid-July. The views from the wrap around deck are spectacular, especially with a good set of binoculars.

The cabin is located about 45 miles from the north-east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Return to HWY 296 and go north, past the Crandall area where there is a small convenience store and a restaurant. A few miles farther takes you to the juntion of HWY 212. Turn left and head towards Cooke City, Montana.

**NOTE: There is no land line telephone at this proeperty. There is no Verizon cell service in Sunlight Basin. AT&T cell phones generally have service.

We were there with our friends because we wanted to visit Yellowstone. It was a bit far drive to the park, but we really enjoyed the place. It has beautiful views and nice trails nearby. We like hikes and the only thing that was missing was a detailed map with hiking trails in the area

The location was the best, in a beautiful valley. My nephews said that they will never forget that vacation there at the cabin.
