Yellowstone National Park is a winter wonderland. From the third week of December until the first of March, Rimrock Ranch as Gary Fales Outfitting guides snowmobile tours into the park. We offer an all-day tour which includes Old Faithful, the Gyser Basin areas, Yellowstone Falls, and Yellowstone Lake. Day trips and overnight trips are also offered and can be customized to fit your needs. Touring the park during winter offers a chance to see the landscape and wildlife in a way that can`t happen during summer. Our goal is to show you the amazing sights and wonders from the unique perspective of a snowmobile traveling through the East Gate, the wildest and most dramatic way into the park. Wood River Valley Ski Touring Park

Wood River Valley Ski Touring Park

The Wood River Valley Ski Touring Park located just 22 miles southwest of Meeteetse offers over 25k of groomed trails, ranging from the scenic and gentle South Fork Trail to the thrilling Brown Creek Trail. The ski touring park is open for use seven days a week. There is no fee, but donations are appreciated to help with the maintenance of the trails. Skiing Wood River Valley affords unique opportunities to photograph and view wildlife, including deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep and mountain lions. There is also a cabin for lodging on the South Fork Trail. Call the Meeteetse Recreation District for cabin reservations or ski rental equipment.
